I’ve been testing the Humvee for a couple of weeks now and this thing is amazing. I own a couple of the others as I get to test Tekto products, and this knife is probably the best OTF Tekto has put out.
Military Bubba here. I own half a dozen different automatic folding Benchmades that were issued to me, and have always wanted an OTF. I couldn’t stomach the price for the benchmade OTF but wasn’t sure about going off brand. I decided to go for it because the price seemed to reasonable. The Tekto humvee exceeds my expectations in ever way. It is completely solid, and the action is fast and precise. I do wish there was a lock feature, but the actuating switch requires a lot of pressure and I’m not worried about it accidentally deploying in my pocket. Construction overall is phenomenal. Slightly bigger than I expected, not sure if this will be an everyday-carry knife because it’s fairly heavy and large, but will defiantly keep it as part of my deployment gear. Thanks Tekto.
I love this knife! This is my first automatic purchase and I was skeptical of how it would work. However, the action is so smooth with just enough force needed to draw the blade. Hefty feel but not too bulky or heavy - just right. Makes it feel substantial and of high quality! Great for my EDC and nightly walk needs - can't recommend enough. You definitely get what you pay for!
This knife feels good in the hand, engages smoothly, is super sharp, and looks really nice. Some say that these blades aren’t made well, but my experience is positive and I would recommend to others.
