What can I do if the knife I want is out of stock?
We restock our knives regularly - sign up to be notified by clicking the orange “Notify me once restocked” button on your preferred knife’s store page. Once the knife is back in stock, you will be the first to know.
Where are your knives made?
Our knives are designed, tested, and assembled in the USA from imported and local parts.
How can I talk to a customer service representative?
Tekto knives are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty that covers defects in the materials or workmanship.
Are warranties transferable?
No, coverage ends if the knife is gifted or sold to someone other than the purchaser.
How do I start a warranty claim?
You’ll want to contact us to start a warranty claim.
How long do warranty repairs take?
You’ll need to mail your knife back to our warehouse in Scarborough, Maine. Once the knife is received, repairs will be completed in most cases in 1 - 2 weeks.
What counts as misuse of the knife?
Using the blade for anything but cutting will void the warranty. Disassembly will void the warranty. Prying, pounding, throwing, alterations, improper handling, and neglect will also void the warranty.
What if I want to claim a part like a pocket clip, or screws?
Screws and pocket clips can be added to your knife without sending it back into the warehouse. Contact us to start a request of parts.
Will you sharpen my knife?
Tekto Knives does offer sharpening services for Tekto branded knives.
Will you replace my knife if it’s lost?
Tekto Knives does not replace knives that are lost or have gone missing.
Returns & Refunds
Does Tekto accept returns?
Tekto accepts returns or exchanges for any reason within 30 days of receipt of your shipment. There is a restock fee of $19.99 if any of the original packaging material is missing. Items must be in salable condition. Processing can take 7 - 10 business days once received at Tekto Headquarters in Scarborough, Maine. You can read our full return policy here.

How long will it take to get my refund?
Once your return is received and approved, you will be notified via email. Most refunds are processed by the bank within 1 - 2 days after we notify you of your approved refund.

How do I care for my knife?
Knives need to be cleaned and kept oiled to avoid rust and damage. Tekto offers a comprehensive guide on our Youtube channel:
Knives of any quality steel will rust if not maintained properly. If rust occurs, clean the knife and oil it. Keep knives oiled regularly to avoid rusting.
Can I open my automatic OTF?
Tekto does not recommend opening the handle of your automatic OTF knife - doing so voids the warranty. If there is an issue with your knife that you believe requires opening the handle to resolve, please contact us.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Transit time varies depending on the carrier or shipping options selected at the time of purchase. Most orders ship within 48 hours of purchase. Please note we do not ship on weekends, or over holidays.
Do you ship internationally?
