PEOPLE ARE ASKING

Is the A7 Zastava an automatic knife?

Yes, the A7 Zastava is an automatic out-the-front (OTF) knife. It ejects and retracts the blade by pushing and pulling the push button. Automatic knives are also known as switchblade knives in some places.

Is S35VN considered a good steel?

The CPM-S35VN steel employed for the A7 Zastava blade stands out in the premium knife market for its unparalleled blend of toughness, edge retention, wear resistance, and its exceptional corrosion resistance.

Is the A7 Zastava difficult to sharpen?

All Tekto knives come sharpened. As is expected, at some point, they will require a sharpening. The secret is not to let the blade get too dull. S35VN is a relatively hard steel that can be sharpened with nearly any standard device.

Where is the A7 Zastava made?

As with all Tekto knives, the A7 Zastava is designed, tested, and assembled in Portland, ME. Tekto uses a combination of local and foreign manufacturers and in-house capabilities to create a quality product for life's most demanding missions.

Are OTF / Automatic Knives legal?

Knife laws vary from state to state. We recommend that you review your local laws. For more information, check out this guide.

Is the A7 Zastava good for left-handed carry?

Yes, the Zastava has a side button and a reversible clip, which makes it ideal for left-handed carry.

Which blade style should I choose?

The Dagger style is perfect for piercing and precise, double-edged cutting, while the Spear Point blade offers balanced strength and versatility for a variety of tasks. Consider your intended use, and choose the blade style that best matches your needs.

A7 Zastava Review

After testing the Zastava knife from Tekto, I’m truly impressed, it’s quickly become a favorite. The wood insert matches Zastava’s style, and the grip feels great. I chose the spear point blade, and it’s excelled through heavy use, maintaining perfect function. The compact glass breaker is a smart touch for emergencies. Perfectly sized, it fits comfortably in hand. Whether you’re a Zastava fan or looking for a reliable knife, I highly recommend it.

Way over my expectations!

Very long strange story short - I've got it.... Out of the box it just slides in your hand. It's very addictive to hold it. But on serious note - it is one very well made knife. Almost zero "play" when you stressing the blade against both axis. Solid like a rock with amazing wood inlay accents. I like my SOCP from known manufacturer, but I prefer S35VN blade from my new Zastava over SOCP D2 blade. Thank you guys for this very cool cooperation!

Not so smooth

Not so smooth compared to their other automatic knives. Tougher to slide the button, longer distance to slide it and it doesn't always pop out like their A5 Spry. Im disappointed. Its been a week and no response from the company about this

I love the beauty of our weapons.

This is the best knife I ever had. The deployment is reliable, the dagger blade is very strong and sharp. I only wish I waited for the one with a red insert.

Have I mentioned that is beautiful to hold and behold?

One of the best OTFs

I have a lot of Microtech OTFs and absolutely love them. I had never heard of Tekto until Shot Show 2024 when they announced the Zastava partnership. When I got my knife in, I was impressed with the quality. It hits above its level. For the price it’s one of the best knives I’ve owned. It also has the same colored wood as my M70.
