F3 Charlie

This is a second knife I got from Tekto. I bought the first one, this one I received as a gift. The F3 is a much larger knife than the other folders put out by Tekto. The blade is much bigger and you feel like it can take a punishing. The scales are G10 and are pretty comfortable, they fit well into my hand. I have no use the lanyard hole, thats not for me. The coolest thing about the F3 is the button lock, its addicting. Very smooth opening and closing, probably due to the ceramic ball bearings. I have not used the flipper much as I use the button lock, but they both work. Great knife, I recommend it.

I first saw the F3 Charlie in a feature article and went to the Tekto website to find out more about it. I like the company back story, so I made the decision to order the F3 Charlie! I have read all the specs and the design story and when I received it, it truly exceeded my expectations! It came razor sharp and much more lightweight than my Benchmade I have been carrying for the last two years. I was surprised by the size of the blade and thoughtfulness of design. It went right into my pocket as soon as I got it out of the box and will be there for a long time. It is a tool that can be counted on to get any job done you need! The price is right and the quality is excellent! I highly recommend this model, even for people with larger hands!

The F3 is a solid easy to open knife with a solid locking mechanism , closing the knife is very simple depressing the lock button it immediately releases the blade . The blade is very sharp care should be taken when closing the knife.

Not only is this F3 Charlie aesthetically pleasing, it has great action and just feels amazing in the hand. The weight of the knife is absolutely perfect. I own several reputable brand knives, however, those are now in the knife roll. The F3 Charlie will now be my number one EDC and I look forward to what Tekto has to offer in the future. When they say they design "purpose-built knives", they mean it.

Its crazy how Tekto Knives has become my favorite knife brand, seemingly overnight. I have several ZT knives, Benchmade, SOG, but none compare to the overall practicality and aesthetics from Tekto. This knife in particular is a beast. A Sexy, Elegant, powerhouse of a knife. Am I mildly aroused by this knife? No...but kinda. I have the Alpha, Bravo, and now the Charlie and I have to say this is hands down my favorite. The OD green is absolutely beautiful, the button lock is smooth and is very easy to get used to. The overall ergonomics are incredibly comfortable, while still looking amazing. 10/10 Easy. Just wish I could've gotten my hands on the Damascus!!!! But that's a purchase for another day. Will always buy from Tekto from now on.
