Tekto Swift -The Best Knife I Have Ever Owned!
I work for a “smaller” bedroom community, about 30-ish miles north of Detroit. Being in law enforcement in this day and age, has become a difficult thing. I carry my Tekto Swift hanging from my right uniform pocket by its pocket clip. The Tekto Swift is a little heavy, with an open and close thumb switch that is a little stiff. I would have been disappointed if nether of these were true. The Tekto Swift has a window breaker on it, and the slightly heave knife will help shatter auto glass any day, easily! My Tekto Swift is a 9.5” tanto bladed stiletto (OTF) knife. My last knife was the same style, but no where as nice. My last knife was a no name at about half the price, and the blade literally rattled inside the handle space. As practice, for some of the “clearing techniques” we use in law enforcement on alarms and open door building searches, my old knife’s rattle gave me away every time. Also, I could never quite get that old low carbon blade quite sharp enough. I like to be able to shave the hair off of my arm when I am done sharpening, and I am my department’s resident blade sharpener. I sharpen knives and swords regularly, (mostly knives). My new Tekto Swift came sharp, to my standards! To say the least, I was impressed. I have been looking at the Tekto Swift for some time now, and two weeks ago most of the Tekto knives were on sale.
